Who we are
MaxTidy is the trading name of Maxwell Stream Pty Ltd (ABN 63 636 429 279), which provides cleaning, gardening and decluttering services in Melbourne and the Yarra Valley. This policy explains how we handle personal information under the Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles.
What we collect
When you request a quote or book a job we collect your name, phone number, email address, the address of the property, details about the property and the work you need, and any notes or photos you send us.
We keep records of our calls, quotes, jobs and payments with you. We do not take card payments through this website and never store card details.
Why we collect it
We use your information to prepare quotes, arrange and carry out jobs, take payment, send receipts and invoices, and contact you about your bookings.
We only send marketing messages if you agree to receive them, and every message lets you unsubscribe.
Who we share it with
We share information only with the people and services that help us do the job: the person carrying out your job, our email and SMS providers, and our website hosting provider. We do not sell personal information.
Some of these providers may store information outside Australia. We choose providers that protect personal information to a standard comparable to the Australian Privacy Principles.
How we keep it safe and for how long
We store information securely and limit access to the people who need it. We keep records only as long as we need them for your jobs and to meet our legal obligations, such as tax record-keeping, and then delete them.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct, export or delete the personal information we hold about you. Contact us and we will respond within 30 days.
Complaints
If you have a concern about how we handle your information, contact us first so we can fix it. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
